Dennis Ryan

Dennis Ryan, founding Editor and co-Director of RaceForm Publications Ltd, has a lifetime of experience across the full spectrum of the racing industry.

His time in journalism includes the editorship of NZ Blood-Horse and The Informant and he has been the recipient of two New Zealand Thoroughbred Media awards. He is also an accomplished horseman, having trained stakes winners in both New Zealand and Australia, as well as owning and breeding major winners. He has actively engaged in racing administration, including a term on the Board of NZ Thoroughbred Racing and is past Chairman of the country’s largest combined racing and training facility, the Matamata Racing Club.
